The 2018 Cura Personalis Scholarship is Georgetown SigEp’s first annual scholarship that is offered two outstanding members of the incoming freshman class. As a $250 scholarship, this money is meant to help incoming students with costs attributed to beginning college: buying textbooks, traveling to and from home, and decorating dorm rooms are all good examples of what this money is meant for.

The application process begins with a written application that is due August 12th, and can be downloaded by clicking here. Turn in your application by emailing it to poc5@georgetown.edu with the subject heading “LastName_CuraPersonalis_Application.” This application is meant to show the scholarship board who you are as a person, and what you’re looking for in your college career. After turning in the application by the end of the month, you will be contacted for a phone interview with at least one person from the scholarship board.

Following the phone interview, a select group of applicants will be invited to a second, in person interview at the start of school. Recipients of the $250 scholarship and two finalists, who will each receive $100, will be announced in early September.

Any questions about this application can be addressed to poc5@georgetown.edu. Finally, Georgetown SigEp would like to thank the fraternity alumni who donated to help make this scholarship possible.
