The 2017 Cura Personalis is the Georgetown SigEp’s first annual scholarship that is offered to one male and one female in the incoming freshman class. As a $500 scholarship, this money is meant to help incoming students with costs attributed to beginning college: buying textbooks, traveling to and from home, decorating dorm rooms are all good examples of what this money is meant for.
The application process begins with a written application that is due July 31, and can be downloaded by clicking here. Turn in your application by emailing it to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject heading “LastName_CuraPersonalis_Application.” This application is meant to show the scholarship board who you are as a person, and what you’re looking for in your college career. After turning in the application by the end of the month, you will be contacted for a phone interview with at least one person from the scholarship board.
Following the phone interview, a select group of applicants will be invited to a second, in person interview at the start of school. Recipients of the $500 scholarship and two finalists, who will each receive $100, will be announced in early September.
Any questions about this application can be addressed to email@example.com. Finally, Georgetown SigEp would like to thank the fraternity alumni who donated to help make this scholarship possible.
